Over the weekend against conference rival James Madison, the Pride softball team continued its domination as it swept the Dukes in the three game series. On the road, the Pride kicked off the series on Saturday with an early 6-0 shutout victory highlighted by seventeen strikeouts from Olivia Galati.

A smile crept over the face of 6-year-old Olivia Galati as she peered at her father and sister playing catch on the front lawn. With the sun and cool breeze beckoning her to join, young Olivia trotted outside to try her hand at hitting.
Hofstra softball played double-headers on March 20-21 as part of the Hofstra Invitational under Sunny, seventy-degree conditions. The Pride won three of four games against Boston University and the University of Connecticut.
This past weekend the Hofstra softball team traveled to Louisville, KY for the Louisville Invitational. The Pride faced nationally ranked opponents including no. 5 Michigan Wolverines (17-4) and no.18 Louisville Cardinals (15-6).
While at the NFCA Leadoff Classic in Georgia, the softball team was on top of their game, wrapping up the series on Sunday with a 4-1 record.
