The Pride men’s basketball team took a break from their Colonial Athletic Association schedule this week when they hosted Rider University in their Bracketbuster matchup.

Behind a team leading 21 points from sophomore guard Nicole Capurso, including the game winner in overtime, the Pride knocked off the Dragons by a final of 68-67 on Sunday.

Head coach Krista Kilburn-Steveskey decided to let senior center Jess Fuller, who leads the team in blocked shots, play despite an injured ankle.
