-A University faculty member reported on Oct. 10 that an electronic hole punch was stolen from the Business Development Center. It was brand new and valued at $150.
-A non-student, Carl Francis of Central Islip, was banned from campus after trespassing in the locker room of the swim center on Oct. 10 and opening lockers. The Nassau County police were notified and the individual was arrested for criminal mischief.
-A University student was issued a summons on Oct. 11 for disorderly conduct in Nassau Hall after engaging in a verbal altercation.
-Two University students were issued summonses on Oct. 11 for possession of alcohol and drugs in Delft House.
-A University student reported on Oct. 11 that she was accused of fighting inside Dizzy Lizard’s, dragged out of the bar by the bouncer and thrown against a pole, injuring her head. The Nassau County police were notified.
-A University student reported on Oct. 11 that she was receiving harassing phone calls in her Suffolk Hall room from an unknown person.
A University student was issued a summons on Oct. 12 in Dutch Treats after leaving the store without paying for a sandwich.
-A University student reported on Oct. 13 that her roommate in Republic Hall has been having unwanted guests in her room, who make a mess and use her bed. She reported she believes her roommate has given a copy of a room key to an individual who does not reside in the building. An emergency lock change was conducted and a summons will be issued to the roommate for harassment.
-A University student reported on Oct. 13 that her 2005 Mercedes Benz had been keyed on the passenger side rear panel while it was parked outside Nassau Hall.
-A University administrator requested on Oct. 13 that public safety report to McEwen Hall to check on the telephone operator. Public safety arrived to find the operator asleep at the switchboard and a report was made to his supervisor.
-A University student was issued a summons on Oct. 14 after walking on a recently poured cement slab inside a construction site designated with yellow tape at Twin Oaks, and leaving footprints.
-A University student was issued a summons on Oct. 15 in Rotterdam House for possession of alcohol.
-A University student was issued a summons on Oct. 15 in Enterprise Hall for smoking marijuana in his room.
-Two University students reported on Oct. 15 that their iPods had been stolen from their rooms in Liberty Hall while they were not present. Police assistance was declined.
-A University student was issued a summons on Oct. 15 for failure to comply after walking a dog on campus after being told to remove the animal.
-A University student was issued a summons on Oct. 15 after a female student reported that she had been verbally harassed by the student repeatedly in Vander Poel Hall.
-Two University students were issued summonses on Oct. 15 in Hampton House for smoking marijuana in their room.
-A University student was issued a summons on Oct. 15 in Orange House for underage possession of alcohol after a health and safety inspection during which a student complained about his roommate’s drinking and storing alcoholic beverages in the refrigerator.
-A University student was issued a summons on Oct. 16 after the R.A. observed the student through the peep hole pouring beer on his door in Alliance Hall.
-Two University students reported on Oct. 16 that their iPods had been taken from their room in Nassau Hall.
-A University student reported on Oct. 16 that her roommate was harassing her on a consistent basis. She reported the roommate left her a letter of apology on the pillow of her bed, which had been urinated on. A summons will be issued to the roommate.
-Three University students were issued summonses in Nassau Hall on Oct. 16 for possession of drug paraphernalia.
-Public Safety received a report that there was an unidentified man loitering in the men’s room in Margiotta Hall on Oct 16. Joseph Pinero, 30, was apprehended and banned from campus.
-A University student who is a member of SGA reported on Oct.16 that when he returned to the SGA office he found that there were documents missing from his mailbox.
-A University student reported on Oct 17. that his laptop computer had been stolen from his room in Liberty Hall while he was in class and his room door was unlocked. The Nassau County police were notified and a report was prepared.
