ATLANTIC 10 NORTH
Massachusetts (2-1, 1-0): The Minutemen got their first conference win Saturday over Villanova. Liam Coen led UMass by passing for 350 yards and two touchdowns in the 31-21 victory.
Maine (1-1, 1-0): The Black Bears were also successful in their first conference game this season. Maine held on after a big halftime lead to win 20-17 over William & Mary.
New Hampshire (2-0, 0-0): Running back Robert Simpson rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns as New Hampshire upped their record to 2-0. Ricky Santos added two TD passes in the 62-7 rout over Stony Brook.
Rhode Island (1-1, 0-0): The Rams had the week off and will host Delaware on Saturday.
Hofstra (1-1, 0-0): The Pride had a breather this week but look to get back on track as they host Towson in the home opener.
Northeastern (1-2, 0-0): The Huskies traveled to Fargo, N.D., to face North Dakota State and were not as successful as they had hoped. The Bison jumped out to a 20-3 lead and never looked back as the Huskies lost for the second time this season.
ATLANTIC 10 SOUTH
Towson (3-0) (0-0): The Tigers continued their dominance over non-conference foes with a 10-3 victory over Liberty. Towson extended its non-conference winning streak to 11, which is the longest active streak in Division I-AA. Richmond (2-0, 0-0): The Spiders rushing duo of Tim Hightower and Justin Forte ran for a combined 250 yards as they trounced VMI, 58-7.
Delaware (1-1, 0-0): The Blue Hens kept it close throughout but suffered their first loss of the season, falling 17-10 to Albany. James Madison (1-1, 0-0): James Madison also had the week off. The Dukes are back in action on Saturday when they will host Northeastern.
William & Mary (0-2, 0-1): The Tribe mounted a good comeback against Maine but ultimately came up a field goal short, losing 20-17.
Villanova (0-3, 0-1): Quarterback Marvin Burroughs threw for 245 yards and a touchdown, but the Wildcats fell 31-21 at home to UMass.
