ery college student are food and sex. How about combining the two? No, not like that! Some yummy foods not only taste great, but can raise your libido.
Raw oysters top the list. Not only is the mere act of shucking a raw oyster stimulating, but they are high in zinc and dopamine. Zinc raises sperm and testosterone levels, while releasing dopamine, a hormone that increases sexual desire.
One of the most sexual foods is celery. Back in elementary school, no teacher would have imagined that an innocent little snack smothered in peanut butter, was giving kids a better chance of scoring a date on the playground. Celery can really heat things up in the sack by releasing androsterone, an odorless hormone released through male perspiration that turns women on.
And how could we have a list of the most sexually stimulating foods without putting the banana on it? Just looking at a woman eating a banana is enough to get any man hot and bothered. With its phallic shape, the physical appearance helps contribute to its sexuality.
Bananas also contain the bromelain enzyme, which is said to improve the male libido, while vitamins like riboflavin and potassium increase the body’s overall energy levels.
Ancient tribes called the avocado tree ahuacati, or “testicle tree,” because the fruits resemble the male genitalia. The most sexually stimulating thing about the avocado, aside from its form of the male organ, are its high levels of folic acid, vitamin B6 and potassium. The folic acid helps to metabolize proteins and provides energy, while vitamin B6 and potassium increase male hormone production and regulate women’s thyroid glands, giving both sexes an added charge for a nightlong romp in the sack.
Figs are another food high in amino acids believed to increase libido.
Guys will be happy to know that eating these tasty little fruits can improve sexual stamina. Garlic is also another libido enhancer, containing allicin, an ingredient that increases blood flow to the sexual organs. And even though you may need to pop a few extra pieces of Orbit, the effects will outweigh the odor.
Sweet foods like mangos, strawberries and chocolate can be super fun in bed. Chocolate is one of the surest bets for a night of pure pleasure. It contains an alkaloid similar to caffeine and a chemical called phenylethylamine, which is believed to produce the feeling of being in love.
We have been told our whole life not to play with our food, but sometimes it can be sexier not to leave your food on your plate.
