Baldwin
– James Lennard, 33, of West Haven, Conn., Lawrence Brown, 33, of Roosevelt and Karla Santos, 27, of Massapequa, assaulted a male victim, 23, outside of Baldwin Billiards following a verbal altercation that occurred inside on Sept. 23. The subjects punched and kicked the victim in the head and body.
– A 23-year-old male victim was walking along Stowe Ave. on Sept. 22 when he was confronted by tow unknown male subjects, one of whom simulated possession of a handgun at his waistband and demanded the victim’s possessions. The victim relinquished his wallet, iPod and cell phone and the subjects fled on foot toward Grand Ave. The subjects were described only as black males.
Elmont
-A female employee of Burger King on Linden Blvd. was walking across the parking lot on Sept. 22 when two men in a black Dodge Neon with tinted windows and New York license plates pulled alongside her. The passenger reached out and grabbed her bag. When she pulled it back, he produced an automatic handgun. The victim ran into the store and the subjects fled the scene westbound. The passenger is described as a black male, medium complexion, in his 20’s, clean shaven, thin face, wearing dark clothes and a dark blue baseball cap with a light blue design.
Far Rockaway
– Herbert James, 54, acting in consort with another subject, previously arrested, entered a stationary store in Park Plaza on Sept. 20, and while diverting the sales clerk’s attention from the front counter, reached into the register and removed an undisclosed amount of cash. He was arrested at his home.
Freeport
– On Sept. 20, an 18-year-old male victim was walking on South Main Street when David Collado, 17, and two juveniles, confronted him. While one defendant threatened the victim with a knife, the other two punched him in the face and forcibly removed and undetermined amount of cash from his pocket. All three fled on foot.
– A 42-year-old male victim was walking at North Long Beach Ave. and Randall Ave. on Sept. 22 when four male subjects, one armed with a baseball bat and the other three with knives, confronted him. The first subject struck the victim above the right eye with the bat, knocking him to the ground. The subjects then removed the victim’s cash from his wallet and fled with the money, on foot. The subjects are described as black males, 20 to 25 years old and wearing dark clothing.
Hicksville
– A 19-year-old male victim became involved in a verbal altercation with Jaime Perez, 17, of Westbury, Jose Guadalope, 22, of Westbury, Jorge Garcia Munos, 18, of Westbury and Freddy Perez, 17, of Levittown (all of whom were arrested), in front of a 7-Eleven on Sept. 23. The incident escalated when the victim was slashed and jabbed with a broken beer bottle and finally pushed through the plate glass window of the 7-Eleven.
Massapequa
– A black male subject, in his mid-20’s, 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a stocky build, clean shaven, corn rows, wearing blue shorts, an orange t-shirt and white sneakers, entered Pathmark on Carmans Road and confronted a female cashier on Sept. 23. The subject produced a knife and held it to the victim’s throat. He then forcibly removed the till from the victim’s hand, pushed her and fled the store with the till, which contained an undisclosed amount of cash.
Merrick
– Anthony Hampton, 33, entered HSBC Bank on Sunrise Highway on Sept. 21 carrying an assault rifle and a duffel bag and demanded money from the teller, who complied. The subject then fled the bank with undisclosed proceeds and was observed fleeing eastbound in a black, four-door Mercedes Benz.
New Cassel
– Two subjects, both armed with handguns, pushed their way into Checkmaster on Prospect Ave. as it was opening for business on Sept. 20. Once inside, they confronted two female employees, 31 and 69, struck them with their handguns and kicked them as they lay on the floor. As one subject stood over the victims, the second one went into a safe and removed an undetermined amount of cash. Both subjects fled on food and are described as black males wearing hooded sweatshirts.
North Bellmore
– Two female subjects and two male subjects entered the store area of U.S. Petroleum Gas Station on Jerusalem Ave. on Sept. 24. A female subject approached the counter to purchase an item when one of the male subjects produced a baseball bat, jumped behind the counter and struck the clerk, male victim, 47. The subjects removed an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot.
North Lawrence
– Humberto Arribasplata, 40, assaulted a 32-year-old male victim on Sept. 20 outside the JM Superette on Lawrence Ave., first striking him in the face with a can of fruit and then attempting to hit him with a baseball bat. The victim wrestled the bat from Arribasplata, who fled inside the above location.
Roslyn Heights
– An 85-year-old woman was walking on her way to church at the intersection of Roslyn Road and Round Hill Road on Sept. 23 when Nicholas Hollis, 19, grabbed her purse containing her church envelope, knocked her to the ground and fled the scene.
Uniondale
– A 24-year-old male, while walking in the vicinity of Uniondale Ave. and Hempstead Blvd., was approached by a white Nissan on Sept. 24. Five Hispanic males exited the car, approached the victim and demanded money from him. One of the suspects produced a baseball bat and struck the victim on his arm and head.
