Football
Savage, a junior transfer from Coffeyville Community College, made his debut for the Pride as the team’s starting quarterback against Furman on Saturday. Leading Hofstra to an improbable win over the ninth-ranked team in the nation, Savage passed for 285 yards and one touchdown.
