Bellmore
– Detectives report that Janet Blackburn, 25, entered the Ridgewood Savings Bank on May 3 and presented a demand note to the teller. The teller complied and handed the subject an undisclosed amount of money. The subject fled through the front door and was observed entering a taxi that drove southbound on Bellmore Avenue.
Cedarhurst
– Shaquan Greene, 16, William King, 16, and Clayon Richards, 17, all of Inwood, attacked a male victim, 14, on May 3, from behind on Peninsula Boulevard. Greene and King have been accused of punching and kicking the victim in the face, back and ribs, and holding the victim down while others continued to deliver blows. The attack went on for several minutes before the subjects fled the scene.
Elmont
– Roberto Gallimore, Jr., 27, known to police officers to have open Nassau County warrants, was seen by detectives in front of Arcade Place on May 2. As the officers began to place Gallimore under arrest, he struggled and attempted to flee on foot. They eventually gained control and arrested him. During a legal search, officers discovered seven clear plastic bags of a substance believed to be cocaine and three clear plastic bags of a substance believed to be marijuana inside Gallimore’s pants.
Jericho
– Frank Russo, 23, confronted his estranged wife, 24, in the parking lot of 575 Jericho Turnpike on May 3, according to detectives, and forced her into a white 2007 Nissan Altima. Russo then drove the victim near the Long Island Expressway where he exited the car, approached the passenger side and displayed a black handgun. He then entered the vehicle and drove the victim eastbound on the L.I.E. for approximately 30 minutes before he returned the victim to the original location.
Lynbrook
– According to detectives, on May 3 Robert Wolfson, 30, while in the vicinity of 121 Merrick Road, sold Scott Gershon, 37, a plastic bag of a substance believed to be marijuana for a sum of $450. A detective observed the incident and attempted to arrest Gershon and Wolfson. Wolfson, driving a black 2002 Mercedes Benz, revved the engine, placed the car in reverse and accelerated toward the detective and Gershon. Wolfson struck the unmarked police car, drove on the sidewalk and fled the scene.
North Long Beach
– On May 2, Ekaterina Akulinicheva, 28, while at Plantation Motel, offered to engage in sexual activity with an undercover detective for the agreed sum of $200.
North Lynbrook
– According to detectives, two Hispanic male subjects, both in their early 20s, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, confronted the night manager of Cross Island Fruits on May 2, after the manager locked up the store. The two subjects pulled the male victim, 47, to the ground, beat him and stole the night’s receipts. The two subjects fled the scene on foot eastbound on Lakeview Avenue.
Oceanside
– A 1993 Buick, operated by Tobias Seaman, 81, on May 3, making a left turn to head northbound on Lawson Boulevard, collided with a 2003 Volkswagen operated by Kristina Morrison, 17, southbound on Lawson.
Seaford
– Police officers received a 911 call to Clark Street on May 5, alerting them to a car theft. As officers were responding, they observed Larry Digby, 42, crouching behind a parked car in the vicinity. After a short foot chase and a physical confrontation, officers were able to place the subject under arrest in a rear yard on Williams Street. An investigation revealed that the subject drove to Seaford in a vehicle that had been reported stolen in East Meadow.
Williston Park
– According to detectives, a white male subject, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, 210 pounds, wearing a red shirt, blue baseball cap, blue jeans, an olive colored jacket and walking with a cane, entered a North Fork bank on May 5, approached the teller and demanded money. After the teller handed an undetermined amount of cash to the subject, he fled the scene in an unknown direction.
