-Two University students were issued summonses on April 18 for smoking marijuana, and for possession of three knives and alcohol in Portsmouth after smoke activated the fire alarm in their rooms.
-A University student was issued a summons on April 18 for failure to comply after giving her identification card to a male student to enter Bill of Rights Hall.
-A University student was issued a summons on April 19 in Delft House for illegally downloading copyrighted material.
-A University student was issued a summons on April 19 in Williamsburg House for illegally downloading copyrighted material.
-A University student reported on April 19 in Gronigen House that her suitemate’s former boyfriend began banging on her door until she threatened to call public safety. When the student left for class in the morning, she observed a swastika and a derogatory word written on her door in brown marker. An investigation is being conducted into this matter.
-A University student was issued a summons on April 19 in Gronigen House for possession of alcohol and smoking marijuana.
-A University student reported on April 20 that he parked his white BMW in parking field six and when he returned he found that the driver’s side had been spray painted with red paint.
-A University student was issued a summons on April 21 after another student left his cell phone on the floor of the recreation center while he played basketball. When the student finished his game, he went to the weight room and remembered that he had left his cell phone. When he returned to the gym, he found that his phone was missing and three students were playing on the court. He asked the students if they had seen his phone, to which they replied no, and then asked if he could search their bags, to which they consented. While searching one student’s bag, the other student found his cell phone. The student who had taken the phone was issued a summons for his actions.
-Two University students were issued summonses on April 22 after another student reported that she had an altercation outside Hofstra USA and he had yelled at her and pushed her to the ground. The male student was issued a summons, but shortly afterwards the male student called public safety and said that the reason he threw her to the ground was that the female had struck him in the face. Both student received summonses.
-A University student reported on April 22 in Vander Poel Hall that she had found racial and sexual slurs and swastikas written on her door. She further stated that she discovered her and several floormates’ nametags were ripped from their doors and swastikas and slurs were written in their places. An investigation is being conducted into this matter.
-A University swim center staff member reported on April 23 that a black box containing $50, several ID cards, and the keys to the register to the swim center was stolen.
-A University student was issued a summons on April 23 in Breukelen House after verbally abusing a Resident Assistant and being in the presence of the strong odor of marijuana.
-A University student reported on April 23 that she left her laptop on a table on the second floor of CV Starr Hall unattended and when she returned later she discovered that the computer was missing.
-A University student reported on April 23 that when she returned to her vehicle, which she had parked on Colonial Square Drive, she discovered that the driver’s side mirror had been vandalized.
-A University student reported on April 23 in Nassau Hall reported that during an argument with her roommate, she was threatened with physical harm. The roommate was issued an appearance summons, who further stated that she was harassed and threatened by the first student, who was also issued a summons.
-A University student reported on April 24 in Vander Poel Hall that a female student knocked on her door and when she opened it, the student slapped the first student in the face, pulled her hair, and fled. The second student was issued a summons for her actions.
