An article in the Feb. 15 issue about three BCIS professors losing their jobs misrepresented enrollment numbers in the BCIS program. There are currently 617 students enrolled in BCIS courses in the 2006-2007 academic year, down from 1760 students in 2000 and 2001. These numbers do not represent the number of declared majors, as stated in the article. The numbers have not been confirmed by the Office of Student Records, as they do not release information on student enrollment.
The photographer for the Feb. 8 article “Senior class challenge gives back to University” was credited incorrectly. The credit should have read: Liliana Candelario.
