On March 12, a student in the graduate residence hall reported that on two separate instances she received harassing phone calls from an unidentified caller.
A student living in Hempstead House received a summons on March 13 when Residential Life confiscated a bag of marijuana and a makeshift bong made from a vodka bottle from their dorm room.
A student in Constitution Hall reported to Public Safety that on March 13, another student who owed him 50 dollars for a textbook harassed him and refused to pay him. The student received a summons for his action.
On March 14, three female students received summonses for fighting with each other on the dance floor at Hofstra USA.
On March 14 at 3:30 a.m., a Public Safety officer observed an unidentified male stealing a pastry from behind the counter at the bakery in the Netherlands Core. The male was identified as Jeremy Diaz, 19 from Brooklyn, N.Y., who was then banned from campus.
A student reported to Public Safety that while waiting on line to get into Nacho Mamas on March 14, he was physically harassed by another student. He reported that the student punched him in the mouth and yelled at him for cutting the line outside the bar. The student received a summons for his actions.
A student reported that his car, which was parked in the Enterprise Hall parking lot, was broken into on March 14, and his satellite radio, gps, two pairs of pants and $10 in change were stolen from the car.
Daniel Rau, 21 from Toms River, N.J., was banned from campus on March 17 after he was caught looking into parked vehicles parked in parking field seven.
On March 17, 911 notified Public Safety that they received a call from an unidentified caller saying that there was a person carrying a gun on campus. Public Safety along with the Nassau and Hempstead police departments conducted a search of the entire campus that turned up negative and the complaint was deemed unfounded.
On March 14, a student reported that his MacBook computer along with his charger was stolen from his Hague House dorm.
