The Frank G. Zarb School of Business was included in the list of “Great Schools for Marketing/Sales Majors for the 2011issue of the Princeton Review. This is a great honor for Hofstra, as The University has been taking great strides to improve its academic reputation. In recent years, the business school has been increasing in national rankings. Forbes recently ranked Zarb as the 51st best school for an M.B.A and U.S. News and World Report ranked Zarb as the 63rd best graduate business program in the nation.
The Frank G. Zarb School of Business has graduated people now employed in diverse groups of companies and organizations such as North Shore Health System, National Grid and Citigroup. The School has also turned out business officials including Bruce Gordon, the CFO & SVP of Walt Disney Internet Group and James Campbell, President and CEO of GE Consumer and Industrial. In 2007, 75% of the graduating class was employed within three months of graduation with average starting salaries of $67,000. About 14% of those employed were in the marketing industry with starting salaries about $56,000.
