- A University student received a summons on Nov. 9 for throwing a balloon filled with water at another student as he walked through the courtyard of the Netherlands.
- A University student reported on Nov. 9 that the rear bumper of his red Kia sustained several scratches while parked in the Estabrook Hall lot.
- A University student reported on Nov. 9 that his vehicle was struck while turning onto California Avenue. The other driver fled the scene, but was apprehended by the Nassau County Police and was arrested.
- A University student received a summons for harassment on Nov. 10 after a female student reported that he punched her in the arm and back and wrote obscene words on the back of her jacket while sitting in class.
- Five University students received summonses on Nov. 10 for possession of drug paraphernalia in Newport House.
- Five University students were issued summonses for failure to evacuate during a fire alarm on Nov. 11 when an unidentified person took out and discharged a fire extinguisher in the 14th floor stairwell in Estabrook Hall, setting off the fire alarm. In addition to the damage to the extinguisher, the door to the stairwell was broken off its hinges.
- A University student reported receiving harassing phone calls from an unidentified male on Nov. 11.
- A University student was issued a summons for failure to comply after entering Colonial Square East without swiping on Nov. 11.
- A Residential Assistant reported finding a pocketknife stuck into the wall of a room in Rotterdam House on Nov. 13. The residents of the room received summonses.
- Nine University students were issued summonses on Nov. 14 for possession of alcohol and inebriation in Williamsburg House.
- A University student received a summons for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in Liberty Hall on Nov. 14.
- Public safety officials responded to reports that there was an intoxicated male on the second floor of Nassau Hall on Nov. 12. When the male was confronted, he became disorderly and attempted to escape. He was apprehended and identified as a member of the US Marines who was AWOL from his base in North Carolina. The non-student was turned over to the military authorities and was banned from campus.
- Non-student Mitchell McDaniel, 24, of Kansas City, Missouri, was banned from campus on Nov. 15 for soliciting students and handing out flyers outside the Axinn Library.
- A University student received a summons on Nov. 15 for the actions of his guest, Orlando Gondar, 20, of Brooklyn, N.Y., who was banned from campus for being in possession of drug paraphernalia and excessive amounts of marijuana in Utrec House. The Nassau County Police were notified and a report was filed.
- A University student received a summons for disorderly conduct on Nov. 16 for urinating on a tree while intoxicated outside Enterprise Hall.
- A non-student reported on Nov. 16 that after parking his car outside Hofstra USA and leaving it unlocked, he returned to find the radio faceplate, his wallet and house keys missing. The Nassau County Police were notified and a report was filed.
