The Delaware Blue Hens snapped the Pride volleyball team’s five-game winning streak in the CAA-opener on Wednesday night, sweeping three very close games (30-26, 30-28, 32-30). It was the Pride’s first loss since Sept. 11 and the team saw its overall record slip to 9-6, while Delaware improved to 11-3. The Pride was paced by sophomore outside hitter Beverly Rivera, who had a career-high 14 kills in 29 attempts. Sophomore middle blocker Elizabeth Curley chipped in with 12 kills while freshman setter Shellane Ogoshi added 36 assists and 19 digs.
