Don’t Cry For Me, Egypt Madonna, who recently spent time in Israel as a self-proclaimed “student of Kabbalah,” has found herself in an awkward situation following her return to U.S. soil. Egypt, which has long maintained poor political relations with Israel, has reportedly banned Madonna from entering their country following her announcement that she would be celebrating the Jewish New Year in Israel. Upon hearing this, members of the Egyptian Parliament demanded that she be prohibited from entering into the country, even going as far as to deny her a Visa. While in Israel, Madonna, also known by her Kabbalah name “Esther,” spoke out at a conference on world peace in Tel Aviv, and took a drive past the famous Wailing Wall, citing an overwhelming amount of protestors and fans as her reason for not spending more time there. -Madeline Kerins |

The Accident Prone People During a recent performance in Germany, Marilyn Manson’s drummer Ginger Fish fell from the stage, breaking his nose and his wrist in the process. Manson was performing as a part of the German awards show VIVA Comet, where he was taken from the Cologne Koelnarena to a hospital in the area for treatment. Fish, who’s real name is Kenny Wilson, is expected to have several weeks of recovery ahead of him, despite the band’s upcoming European dates. His replacement has not yet been announced. The accident took place during the band’s performance of “Personal Jesus”, a Depeche Mode cover. The song, among other Manson hits, is featured on their September 28th release “Lest We Forget”. Dates for the Against All Gods tour in support of the disc are expected to be released in the near future. -Madeline Kerins
