A University student received an appearance summons for possession of marijuana in Dover House on March 10.

A University student received an appearance summons for actions of his guest, non-student Craig Owen, 20, of Rosell, NJ, who was arrested for stealing the credit card of another student on March 10.

A University student reported an unidentified male knocked on her door in Vander Poel Hall and asked her in a “monotone voice” if he could ask her a few questions on March 10. She said she answered no and shut the door and he left.

A University student received an appearance summons for actions of his guests, non-students Kahlid Hassan, 19, of Elmont, NY, Scott Cohen, 23, of Garden City, NY, and Ismael Abid, of Garden City, NY who were banned from campus for soliciting in Nassau Hall on March 11.

A University student reported his black 2002 Chevy was struck in the parking lot of Hagedorn Hall on March 11.

A University administrator reported a three-foot-tall, 100-pound bronze sculpture of a great blue heron was stolen from the entrance of the bird sanctuary on March 11.

A University student received an appearance summons and non-student Michael Herbert, 23, of Bellmore, NY, was banned from campus for having an open hypodermic needle in his vehicle at the main gate on March 11.

A University student reported there was threatening and harassing graffiti on the mirror and shower wall of the ladies’ room on the eighth floor of Estabrook Hall on March 11.

A University student reported a vehicle struck the back of his Jeep and left the scene of the accident near the Oak Street entrance to campus on March 11.

A University student reported receiving harassing e-mails in Newport House on March 11. Nassau County Police were notified.

A University student reported someone put toothpaste in the peephole of her door in Leiden House on March 11.

Two University students were issued appearance summonses for failure to evacuate during a fire alarm in the Law School building on March 12.

There was a fire at Hofstra USA on March 13. The building was evacuated, the fire was extinguished and there were no injuries.

A Public Safety officer on duty reported the glass of a fire extinguisher case was broken on the second floor of Plymouth House on March 14.

A Public Safety officer on duty reported a fire hose was unwound on the third floor of Suffolk Hall on March 14.

A University student reported receiving harassing phone calls at her home in Westbury from March 7 to March 14.

A Public Safety officer on duty reported there was graffiti on the glass doors of Rensselaer House on March 15.

A University student reported his silver backpack, heart rate monitor, running shoes and two running jackets were removed from his Jeep in the parking lot near Colonial Square West on March 15.

Non-student Brandon Robinson, 21, of Uniondale, NY, was banned from campus for falsely activating an emergency call box on March 16.

A Public Safety officer on duty reported the left front door of Hofstra USA was shattered on March 16.

A University student received an appearance summons ad non-student Joseph Vito, 21, of Baldwin, NY, was banned from campus for harassing a resident safety representative outside of Nassau and Suffolk Halls on March 14.

A University student received an appearance summons for committing a forcible sex offense against another student on March 16.
