1. Drexel University: 4-2 (1-0) After winning four consecutivegames after its opening day loss, Drexel added another number to the loss column after being edged 8-7 at Albany on Mar. 11. The Dragons will have to keep its focus with the team’s next four games coming on the road.
2. Towson University: 3-3 (1-0) The Towson Tigers climbed into the front seat of the CAA after defeating conference rival Robert Morris 13-5. Phil Grillo led the Tigers with fi ve of the teams 13 goals on the day.
3. Villanova University: 3-4 (1-0) Although Villanova had lost its previous two games before an 11-8 conference win over Robert Morris last Saturday, the Wildcats had lost by a combined four goals. Villanova looks to pull even in an important CAA match up against Drexel on Mar. 25.
4. University of Delaware: 8-1 (0-0) Putting aside an 11-5 loss to the hands of Georgetown on Mar. 15, Delaware has been literally unstoppable winning eight of its fi -rst nine contests.
5. Pride: 4-1 (0-0) The Pride has been outstanding since opening day, riding a fou game winning streak into Saturday against Notre Dame. The Pride will need to capitalize on a four game home stand, including games versusCAA rivals Towson and Sacred Heart.
6. Sacred Heart University:0-6 (0-0) It has not been a pleasant start for Sacred Heart, coming up winless in its fi rst six games this season. The Pioneers latest loss was its worse, falling to UMass 17-9. The Pioneers host last place Robert Morris on Saturday looking for itsfirst win.
7. Robert Morris: 1-6 (0-3) Robert Morris has dug itself a hole by beginning the season with three consecutive conference losses. The Colonials have failed to win a game since defeating Seton Hall 9-1 on Feb. 18. Robert Morris gets another shot at a CAA win on Saturday against SacredHeart.
