The Hofstra University Department of Drama and Dance presented Detroit ‘67. To celebrate Black History Month, adjunct professor G.D. Kimble directed students in this award-winning production set during the 1967 Detroit riots. The show centers around siblings Chelle and Lank, who try to navigate their relationship and life in their community while running their own “after-hours joint” in their basement. Their future performances are on Thursday, Feb. 26; Friday, Feb. 27; Saturday, Feb. 28 and Sunday, March 1.
