Gutierrez, a senior from Freeport, N.Y., led the Pride to a 28-13 win over Albany, topping his previous career-high of 12 tackles with 15 while intercepting his first pass of the season. Gutierrez was the main force that limited the Albany offense to only 94 yards rushing, and now leads the CAA in tackles per game, with 13.5.

Kareem Huggins’ 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the Pride’s win over Albany was Hofstra’s first return for a touchdown since Robert Thomas rushed 97 yards against Liberty in 1998.
