Come down to enjoy a presentation as we present facts, and dispel rumors, about our most fascinating bird group, the Raptors. View and learn about owls, hawks, and falcons up close and personal. People of all ages can come down to witness and talk about these incredible predators, their habits, habitats and adaptations.

Nature at Night

Join us for an evening of exploring nature at night and discover that wandering in the woods in the dark doesn’t have to be scary. Meet live owls and other nocturnal critters, learn how to use all of your senses, and search the forest and meadows for signs of animals that use the cover of darkness to hunt for prey or hide from predators. Of course, we’ll also make a nocturnal nature craft.
$7 members/$10 non-members.

You are invited to visit the Theodore Roosevelt Sanctuary and Audubon Center as we celebrate the world around us! Staff and guests will host a variety of programs all day! Sanctuary Day at Theodore Roosevelt Sanctuary is a family event focusing on the natural world. The day will include the Tale Trail, Live animal demonstrations, seining in the Sound, children’s crafts, basic bird identification seminars and self-guided nature hikes.
