Turning heads from Breslin to C-Square, this Subcontinental siren floats on the gusty winds of Hofstra to bring you the news each week. Her words full of mirth-and her walk full of bounce-keep us informed of doings in every nook and cranny of the University. Perky and flirty, she’s easy on the eye and spreads joy wherever she roams. And runs! This pert, mocha-brown athlete with model-like physique sure attracts all with her coquettish wiles and winsome demeanor. Be careful not to upset her, fellows, she’ll make for the dorms before you can say, “Well, hello there, chiquitita.”
Ms. Patel has been at the University studying print journalism, and aspires to a career with an exciting news organization. Editor-in-Chief of the Chronicle for this past semester, and knowing 20 summers-with the twenty-first coming up!-she has known her fair share of late nights and early mornings. Engaged at nearly every moment, this femme fatale has little time for the meeker sort. Have I mentioned she speaks Spanish? Quite the linguist….
At 105 lbs. and running a mile in just a touch over six minutes, she’s light and fast-but not too fast. Careful, boys: she has an Army man at her side.
