- A University student reported on Oct. 26 that while parked near Colonial Square West, the doors to her 2000 Jeep Wrangler were removed and five CDs were stolen.
- Non-students Steve Valentin, 25, of Queens Village, N.Y., and Carlos Sanchez, 17, of East Elmhearst, Queens, N.Y., were banned from campus on Oct. 26 for putting flyers on vehicles near Estabrook Hall.
- Five University students were issued appearance summonses on Oct. 26 for knocking on doors in Bill of Rights Hall and soliciting women to go with them to a bar.
- The Nassau County police were called to campus on Oct. 27 after receiving information from the Monroe County, N.Y. Suicide Hotline that a female was going to commit suicide in one of the residence halls. The report was unfounded, as the student was not present in the room or registered as living in the building.
- A University student was issued a summons after a staff member of the Axinn Library reported on Oct. 27 that he was sleeping in the lounge area of the women’s restroom.
- Two University students were issued summonses after finding marijuana in their room in Twin Oaks on Oct. 27.
- A University student received a summons on Oct. 27 for illegal use of a handicap permit in parking field 1. The vehicle was towed and the permit confiscated.
- A University student reported on Oct. 28 that a threatening note was left on her vehicle, which was parked legally in a marked spot in the Netherlands parking lot. Investigation into this matter is ongoing.
- A University student received a summons on Oct. 28 for removing and disposing a boot attached to his illegally parked vehicle. The boot remains missing as of yet, but will cost the student $478 to replace.
- A University student was issued a summons on Oct. 29 for failure to comply after refusing to present the RSR with ID upon entering Colonial Square East.
- A University student reported on Oct. 29 that she received harassing phone calls and threats of physical violence from a former boyfriend. The student declined police intervention, but requests a change of phone number and that the male be banned from campus.
- A Residential Director in Colonial Square West reported on Oct. 30 that he heard the sound of paintball guns being fired in the quad. Upon emerging from his room, the RD was confronted by six or seven unidentified, masked males shooting paintballs, who fled upon being denied access to Jamestown House.
- A University student received a summons for illegally using a handicap permit in parking field 1 on Oct. 30. The Volkswagen was towed and the permit returned to the issuing town.
- A University administrator reported on Oct. 31 that upon returning to his room in Twin Oaks, his window was open and 17 DVDs and $100 were missing. The police have not yet been notified, and an investigation is underway.
- A member of the NY Jets security staff reported that an unidentified male climbed the fence on the west side of the facility and was handing out plays to NY Jets players on Oct. 31. Non-student Chris Hinchey, 39, of Woodhaven, Queens, N.Y. was subsequently banned from campus.
- A University student reported her vehicle had several eggs smashed on the driver’s side while parked in the Vander Poel parking lot on Oct. 31.
- Smoky conditions were reported on Nov. 1 on the third floor of Suffolk Hall, as a result of unidentified person or persons discharging a fire extinguisher.
- A University student received a summons on Nov. 2 for having a physical altercation with her guest in the lobby of Estabrook Hall. The guest, Lauren Rhoades, 18, of West Cauldwell, N.J. was banned from campus.
