In the Hofstra softball teams first game in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Tournament, the Pride, who entered the CAA Tournament as the No. 2 seed, defeated the No. 3 seed Towson Tigers 9-4 in Virginia on Wednesday afternoon.
The Hofstra softball teams hot hitting continued in a big way on Saturday, as the Pride launched six home runs and hung 22 total runs in a doubleheader sweep of UNC Wilmington at Fordhams Bahoshy Field.
