The bats woke up in a big way for the Hofstra softball team on Saturday, as the Pride launched three home runs over two games to pick up a pair of wins over Boston University and the University of Massachusetts at Bill Edwards Stadium.
A three-run second inning proved to be fatal as the Hofstra softball team was tripped up by Florida Gulf Coast University 3-2 to wrap up the Unconquered Invitational at Florida State University on Sunday afternoon.
