The Hofstra women’s lacrosse team dropped a home matchup against the University of Delaware on Friday by a final score of 12-8. With the loss, the Pride drops to 7-6 on the season and 1-2 in Colonial Athletic Association competition, while Delaware improves to 6-8 and 1-2 respectively.
Alyssa Parrella led the way for Hofstra women’s lacrosse, scoring a career-high nine points, as the Pride buried the University of New Hampshire in a 17-7 victory on Thursday night at James M. Shuart Stadium.
Alyssa Parrella had five goals in her move down from midfield to attack while Maddie Fields posted nine saves in net to lead the Hofstra women’s lacrosse team to a 17-8 win over Columbia University on Tuesday.
Despite a career-high 16 saves from keeper Maddie Fields and a season-best five goals from freshman Katie Whelan, Hofstra women’s lacrosse fell 17-10 to No. 2 Maryland on the road Saturday afternoon
