In the opening day of their final series of the regular season, the Hofstra Pride baseball team split a doubleheader at home against James Madison University, winning the first game 4-1 before being edged out in the second match 2-3 on Friday afternoon, May 11.

In the second game, Hofstra University defeated the University of Maryland Baltimore County and came out on top 9-6.
