“Andor,” the newest in a slew of “Star Wars” streaming series on the platform Disney+, finished its first season on Nov. 23. The series follows Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), a thief on the run who becomes involved in a raid on an Imperial fortress, which leads to his arrest, escape and ultimate enlistment in the Rebellion as a spy as introduced to audiences in 2016’s “Rogue One.”

On Sept. 21, “Andor,” a new original “Star Wars” series, premiered exclusively on Disney+.

Rian Johnson left the new trilogy off with “The Last Jedi,” the best Star Wars movie since “The Empire Strikes Back” came out in 1980. After the somewhat unoriginal – but good – “Force Awakens” started the new trilogy, “The Last Jedi” moved the story down an original and interesting path with compelling themes about what makes a hero and what truly defines a Jedi. Then, in December 2019, “The Rise of Skywalker” screwed it all up.
