In the opening day of their final series of the regular season, the Hofstra Pride baseball team split a doubleheader at home against James Madison University, winning the first game 4-1 before being edged out in the second match 2-3 on Friday afternoon, May 11.

Vito Friscia hit a base-clearing single in the bottom of the seventh inning that completed Hofstra baseballs 6-4 comeback win over Northeastern University on Saturday afternoon at University Field.
The Hofstra Pride baseball team climbed to 21-15 overall and 10-8 in Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) play with their 9-6 win at the College of William and Mary on Sunday. W&M fell to 15-29 overall and 3-15 in CAA play.
The Hofstra baseball team defeated the College of William and Mary by a final score of 7-3 on the road Sunday to pick up their sixth straight victory. With the win, the Pride improve to 20-15 overall and 9-8 in Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) play while William and Mary falls to 15-28 overall and 3-14 in the CAA.
The Hofstra Pride baseball team picked up their fifth straight victory with a 1-0 win over the College of William and Mary on Friday night at Plumeri Park in Williamsburg, Virginia.

After scoring 20 runs combined in the last two-games, Hofstra only managed to scrap together two-runs and three hits in a 5-2 loss in extra innings to the Delaware Fighting Blue Hens. The Pride failed to complete the sweep of their CAA opponent.
The Hofstra Pride baseball team clicked on all cylinders Friday afternoon at University Field, defeating the University of Delaware 9-0.
John Rooney took the mound and did not disappoint all of the scouts watching in the stands. The southpaw went for a complete game shutout, allowing just two hits while striking out 11 batters.
