‘Boy My Greatness’ opens at Hudson Guild Theater

The Hudson Guild Theater, an off-off-Broadway theater in New York City, was packed on March 8 as almost 100 guests awaited the world premiere of “Boy My Greatness,” a play that explores the lives and loves of the teenage boys who originally portrayed Shakespeare’s female characters.

Hofstra presents: ‘Dike’

Sexuality can be an awkward topic to discuss over family dinners, and that is evident in the Department of Drama and Dance’s production of “Dike.” The show was performed across two weekends in April, portraying the story of two sisters reunited after two years of separation.

‘Woyzeck’ wows Hofstra

This spring, the opening play to the Hofstra drama department’s 2023 season will be “Woyzeck.” “Woyzeck” is written by Georg Büchner and directed by Royston Coppenger. The show is a classic tale of a young soldier who is sacrificed to powers larger than himself.
