The Hofstra womens basketball team snapped a six-game losing streak and picked up its first Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) win behind Boogie Brozoskis 34 points in a 78-61 victory over Northeastern University on Sunday, Jan. 27, at the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex.

The Hofstra University womens basketball team continued to struggle with turnovers as they fell to the James Madison University Dukes in a final score of 77-54, on Friday evening, Jan. 11, at the Convocation Center in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The Pride is currently 6-9, and 0-3 in Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) play.
Despite multiple attempts at a comeback, turnovers and early foul trouble doomed Hofstra womens basketball in a 77-64 loss against Elon University. Boogie Brozoski led the Pride with 15 points.
The Hofstra Pride womens basketball team erased a seven-point fourth-quarter deficit and held off a last-second rally to snap a two-game losing skid and knock off the University of Maryland Baltimore County Retrievers, 45-42 at the UMBC Event Center in Baltimore Sunday afternoon.

Hofstra was led by Ana Hernandez Gil, who had 16 points on the day, while the Red Foxes had the games highest scorer in Rebekah Hand who had 20.
Wright State Universitys offensive prowess carried the team to a resounding 93-64 victory over Hofstra University on Friday, Nov. 23, as part of the opening day of the Challenge in Music City. The game is the first of three for both teams in the neutral-site tournament held in Nashville, Tennessee.
Stony Brook University won their home-opener 77-49 over Hofstra womens basketball on Tuesday night, Nov. 13. The Seawolves first win of the year comes off their loss to Rutgers University in their season-opener, giving the team a 1-1 record. Hofstra drops to 1-2 and have now lost two-straight.
