1. University of North Carolina Wilmington: 22-7 (15-3)
UNC Wilmington’s 68-56 win in its final game helped the Seahawks lock up the top spot in the CAA Tournament.
2. George Mason University 22-6 (15-3)
George Mason capped off the regular season with a 95-68 blow- out victory over James Madison. Lamar Butler scored a season high 27 points to lift GMU over JMU.
3. Pride: 22-5 (14-4)
After one of the biggest wins in the history of Pride basketball, 77-66 over then No. 25 George Mason last Thursday, Saturday’s win over Drexel came down to the final shot.
4. Old Dominion University: 21-8 (13-5)
Old Dominion finished up the season with a 69-53 win over Delaware.
5. Northeastern University: 17-10 (12-6)
Since Northeastern’s loss to the Pride on Feb. 11, the Huskies have strung together four straight victories.
6. Virginia Commonwealth University: 18-9 (11-7)
Nick George put up 20 points in Virginia Commonwealth’s season finale win over William & Mary.
7. Towson University: 12-15 (8-10)
Despite losing its season finale to Northeastern, Towson locked up the No. 7 seed in the tournament.
8. Drexel University: 15-15 (8-10)
A five-point halftime lead and the final shot of the game were not enough for Drexel to hold down the Pride last Saturday. As a result, the Dragons got the No. 8 seed and will play Delaware.
9. University of Delaware: 8-20 (4-14)
Delaware finished the season with five losing streaks and the season ended no differently, losing its final three games.
10. Georgia State University: 6-21 (3-15)
A 12-point loss to UNC Wilmington on Saturday extended Georgia State’s losing streak to seven games.
11. The College of William & Mary: 8-19 (3-15
William & Mary’s success was short lived though, as the team finished with a lossing streak.
12. James Madison University: 5-22 (2-16)
James Madison’s 95-68 loss to George Mason was no surprise to anyone, and it summed up the Dukes entire season.
