Peter F. DiSilvio is a senior business management and political science major from Massapequa, N.Y. Peter has been a supporter of all facets of the University by being a participating member of the Hofstra University Student Government Association. Peter is currently the president of SGA, which is responsible for the safety and happiness of all undergraduates. He is one of the creators of the two biggest annual events at the University: Hofstra Music Fest and Destination Runway. He is the only two-term SGA president in Hofstra history serving the 2006-2007 and 2008-2009 student bodies and counts among his accomplishments balancing the Student Government Budget, opening up communication between students and administrators and cutting down on the paper work students need to fill out.
