A University student was arrested for allegedly selling stolen goods via Craigslist.com, a classified listings Web site, according to a New York Daily News report on Wednesday. William Panagako, 24, was arrested after selling a 24-foot boat trailer and a 2 1/2-horsepower outboard motor. “He received it, and he didn’t know it was stolen,” a woman identifying herself as Panagako’s mother said in the Daily News report. Police said Panagako knew the goods were stolen, and he was with fourth and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, the first count a felony and the second a misdemeanor.
