On April 15, four students residing in Suffox Hall received summons for smoking marijuana.
The Nassau County police arrested two students on April 16 after following them onto campus. The driver was arrested for a DUI and the passenger was arrested for criminal impersonation.
A custodian reported on April 17 that three items were taken from her cart, a squeegee, a mop and a sponge.
Public Safety reported on April 17 that a student was taken to the Nassau University Medical Center to receive treatment for a laceration on his hand. According to Public Safety the laceration was caused when he punched a first floor stairwell window. The student received a summons for his actions upon returning to campus.
Four students residing in Amsterdam House received summons after verbally abusing another student on April 17.
A Lackman food staff member reported that while she was opening the Netherlands Core Restaurant on April 18, she discovered that the desert case was opened and items totaling $24 had been taken. Two students were identified as the culprits and issued summonses for their actions.
On April 18, a student reported that his Mac laptop and Xbox game system had been stolen from his Vander Poel Hall dorm.
A student reported that on April 18 his iPod had been stolen from his car parked in the Constitution Hall parking lot. He noted that both the passenger and driver’s side windows were left down.
On April 20, two female students reported that two females who identified themselves as reporters for HBO made them uncomfortable when they came up to them and asked if they could interview them about sex and alcohol on campus for a new documentary.
