Hofstra University’s only comprehensive student newspaper, The Chronicle, re-launched its Web site today, with an emphasis on a more inclusive design to promote an enjoyable reading experience.
As part of this new effort, the site HofstraChronicle.com has undergone several unique changes to benefit our readers.
Among other things, HofstraChronicle.com has made access to our content completely free of registration and will try to continue to show our content in the most beneficial way.
Other changes to HofstraChronicle.com include:
- A redesigned and cleaner homepage that makes content easier to find;
- A wider site layout that optimizes news presentation;
- Every story is now available on the homepage.
Besides these features, we have added a dating channel, an updated sports score box and a new RSS site feed.
Several new sections have also been added to our page:
- In the same spot you found this letter a Web exclusive story featuring multimedia content will appear each week;
- The Chronicle Flashback on our homepage will feature past stories from our archives;
- Finally, we have redesigned our CD Reviews into a section on our homepage called The Music Spot.
We would also like to re-introduce you to our classifieds section. This is the cheapest way to reach the entire student body at Hofstra University and we hope you take advantage of it. Click here to try it out!
Please feel free to explore our new site and e-mail us with any questions or concerns.
