William & Mary 31, Rhode Island 24QB Lang Campbell threw for 192 yards completing 20 of 27 passes against Rhode Island (URI), including two for touchdowns. Campbell also had a 4-yard run resulting in a touchdown. Averaging 3.3 yards per carry, Jason Hamm of URI rushed for 106 yards.
Villanova 49, Richmond 10Villanova had no need for a field goal kicker on Saturday judging from the seven touchdowns that they had. WR J.J. Outlaw, WR Chris Polite, and WR Terry Bulter each caught two touchdown passes, combining for 6 of the 7 touchdowns by Villanova.
Massachusetts 38, New Hampshire 21WR Brandon London of UMASS averaged nearly 19.5 yards per reception finishing with 136 yards and one touchdown. QB Tim Day of UMASS had a total of 293 yards, but was picked off two times. New Hampshire’s run game was a complete failure with a total of -2 yards on only 12 rushes.
Harvard 41, Northeastern 14RB Clifton Dawson had two of the five touchdowns for Harvard and a total of 111 yards. QB Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 22 of 37 attempts for 206 yards. Harvard combined for 426 yards of total offense and only let up two touchdowns.
James Madison 24, Maine 20QB Justin Riscati of JMU had 197 passing yards, threw two touchdowns and ran for one touchdown. With an impressive average of 5.7 yards per carry, Marcus Williams of Maine, contributed 166 yards on the ground.
Towson 41, Bosie St. 7Towson RB Matt Brunetti and RB Kerry Miles each ran for two touchdowns. Towson completely shut down any passing game that Bosie St. had. The two quarterbacks for Bosie St. combined for only nine pass attempts, none of which were completed and four of which were picked off.
