CATCHING UP
After missing a penalty kick in the Pride’s Oct. 1 match against the University of Delaware, senior forward Elyse Bizzozzaro bounced back just seven minutes later, scoring her third goal of the season.
The goal, Bizzozzaro’s 23rd of her collegiate career, moves her into fourth place on the Pride’s all-time scoring list. She needs four more goals to be tied for third place with Pride alumnus Jerilyn Marinan (’00).
ANNUAL SUCCESS
With its Oct. 3 win over Towson University, the Pride secured at the very least, a .500 season. The team also needs one more win in order to obtain its seventh 10-win season in the last eight years.
OFFENSIVE FRENZY
Senior midfielder Emma Kilduff tied freshman forward Carol Leurini as the Pride’s current point leader. Kilduff earned three points in the last two games, including a goal against the University of Delaware on Oct. 1, and an assist against Towson University on Oct. 3.
Kilduff has three goals and four assists on the season for a total of 10 points, while Leurini tallied her 10 points on five goals. Junior midfielder Chrissy Arnone is not far behind, as she has four goals and one assist, for a total of nine points on the season.
