Two roommates reported having disputes with each other in Nassau Hall on March 17.
Two University students received appearance summonses and non-students Salim Kalieh, 19, of Bellmore, NY, Richard Mignolia, 20, of Bellmore, NY, Kevin O’Keefe, 19, of Seaford Harbor, NY, and Jason DeMuscara, 19, of North Bellmore, NY, were banned from campus for smoking marijuana in Delft Hours on March 17.
Non-student Richard Hunter, 29, of Roosevelt, NY was arrested for harassing a female student after being previously banned from campus. Hunter approached the student outside of Hammer Lab and told her he was doing a biology project and asked her to come with him into the Axinn Library so he could draw her feet. The student notified Public Safety, who searched campus and found him in the parking lot near the law school.
Public Safety officers on duty found two swastikas etched in the snow on the roof of a car in the parking lot of Bill of Rights Hall on March 18.
A University student received a laceration to her jaw and injured her left wrist in an altercation off-campus on March 18. She was treated at Nassau University Medical Center and released, and did not want to file a report with Nassau County Police.
Two University students received appearance summonses for having a loud verbal dispute in Suffolk Hall on March 18.
A University student received an appearance summons for vandalism and harassment after he broke a window of Roosevelt Hall with his fist on March 17 and verbally harassed a female student on March 18.
A University student reported someone filled his lock with glue in Enterprise Hall on March 18.
A University student reported observing a suspicious male around 45 years old sitting in a gold, old-model car in the parking lot between Enterprise and Estabrook Halls on March 18.
Four University students received appearance summonses for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in Rotterdam House on March 19.
Two University students received appearance summonses for disorderly conduct and drinking alcohol in the courtyard of Netherlands South on March 20.
A University student was taken to Nassau University Medical Center after another student reported he was depressed and acting incoherently as a result of substance abuse in Liberty Hall on March 20.
Non-students Steve Faucetta, 19, of Holtsville, NY, Bryn Maniello, 19, of Huntington, NY, Kristen Ferrugia, 19, of Oyster Bay Coves, NY and Aaron Levy, 20, of Bethpage, NY were banned from campus for refusing to show identification at the main gate on March 21.
Six University students received appearance summonses and non-student Tessie Vezza, 21, of Morgantown, WV, was banned from campus for disruptive condition, verbal abuse, fighting and failure to comply at a loud party in Jamestown House. Two of the students had a physical altercation with Public Safety officers and had to be handcuffed. One Public Safety officer received an injury to his left eye.
A University student received an appearance summons for falsely activating an emergency call box near Hofstra Blvd. and Liberty Blvd. on March 21.
A University student received an appearance summons for falsely using a handicapped parking sign that belonged to her mother on March 22.
A University student reported his silver laptop was stolen from his room in Hempstead House over the weekend March 22.
A University student received an appearance summons for downloading copyrighted material in Liberty House on March 22.
A University student reported someone stole her Game Cube’s memory card, games and controller from her room in Twin Oaks on March 22.
Two roommates reported having disputes with each other in Liberty Hall on March 22.
Non-student Angel Arzuaga, 19, of Takahama, PA, was banned from campus for having an argument with his ex-girlfriend in the parking lot outside Bill of Rights Hall on March 22.
A University student reported his social security number was used to purchase a Sprint phone and $375 worth of charges on March 23. Nassau County Police were notified and a complaint was filed.
A University student reported she was getting into her 1994 Ford Probe when an unidentified male who called himself “Dave,” wearing a flannel shirt, glasses and baseball hat approached her on March 6. He said he had a silver Probe and asked if she wanted to be in a club for Probe owners. She got in her car and left. She parked near C.V. Starr Hall on March 9, and when she came back, she noticed a white, liquid substance on her car. On March 18, she parked in the same area and noticed a white, liquid substance on her car and a silver Ford Probe parked nearby. Public Safety is investigating the report.
A University student received an appearance summons for falsely using a handicapped parking sign that belonged to her grandmother on March 23.
A University administrator reported receiving threatening, derogatory e-mails from a person who identified him or herself as “Shirley.” Nassau County Police were notified.
A University student reported the rear window of her 1995 BMW was broken by a baseball near the Recreation Center on March 23.
