Hofstra men’s soccer outlasts Providence in 4-2 thriller

The Hofstra University men’s soccer team defeated the Providence College Friars in a six-goal thriller at Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium in Providence, Rhode Island, on Friday, Sept. 1. The Pride advanced to 2-1 and got their first road win of the season. 

Nealis drafted to the MLS by New York Red Bulls

Hofstra University’s Sean Nealis was drafted to the New York Red Bulls during the 2019 Major League Soccer SuperDraft in Chicago, Illinois on Jan. 11. The senior defender was drafted first in the second round and 25th overall.
