A FIRST
For the first time in two years, the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) has honored a Pride player with the CAA Player of the Week Award. Sophomore Kara McEneaney, a one-time recipient of the CAA Rookie of the Week Award last season, was named player of the week for her performance in the two Pride wins over Quinnipiac University and Sacred Heart University. In the two contests, McEneaney scored two goals and recorded two assists, giving her the current team lead in total points with 19 on the season. McEneaney shares this week’s award with goalkeeper Mary Cate Gordon of the University of Delaware.

Cowperthwait is now tied for second in the CAA with three shutouts on the year, and ranks an impressive third in the conference in goals against average (1.79).
CLEAR THE BENCHES
In the 5-0 blanking of Quinnipiac, three Pride players saw their first action of the season. Sophomore Allison Pouliotte, red-shirt freshman Krysta Cardinale, and true-freshman Nadine Surak all saw time on the field, bringing the total Pride players who have played this year to 17.
