As the 2019-2020 academic year draws to a close, Hofstra’s Student Government Association (SGA) seeks to elect a new president and vice president for the 2020-2021 academic year. Voting will open on Wednesday, April 29, at 9 a.m. and closes Thursday, April 30, at 5 p.m. The student body will have the opportunity to vote on their Hofstra portals during this period.
This spring, the candidates for president and vice president are Keegan Santos (President) and Charlie Ragault (Vice President), and Tara Stark (President) and Alexa Osner (Vice President). Below you will find both campaigns’ mission statements and slogans, as well as biographies of the candidates.
Students can cast their ballots this Wednesday and Thursday by voting through their Hofstra portals.
The Hofstra Chronicle does not endorse either party or any candidate and is publishing this information to highlight the candidates so that students can make an informed voting decision.
