On Wednesday, April 1, two scientific endeavors awaited Hofstra University students during common hour. The American Chemical Society led group experiments with mentos and soda, wowing onlookers by making elephant toothpaste. On the other side of campus, the Hofstra Anthropology club hosted an anatomical competition to see who could accurately rebuild a human skeleton in the shortest amount of time. Despite being held on April Fools day, both events gave students an opportunity to learn!
